A trained dancer, Mayte Garcia, joined Prince's New Power Generation in 1991. She toured with Prince during the Diamonds and Pearls Tour, 1992 and featured in the collection of music videos released as a short film, 3 Chains o' Gold, 1994. Prince and Garcia became romantically involved and married in 1996. The Soul Train episode which aired in May, 1994, featured Prince performing 'The Most Beautiful Girl In The World', with Mayte featured as his dancer and muse, using these handcuffs as a prop.
