Each cartouche-shaped back and serpentine seat rail carved with flowers and trailing leaves, the scrolling arms on shaped fluted supports, the back with incised decoration, on cabriole legs headed with flowers and terminating in acanthus, covered in ivory silk damask, each with spurious stamp 'I. AVISSE'
