The present reference 6090 is a fine example of the so-called "Bombé" -family, French for "domed", referring to the unusual pointed shape of the lugs of this model. The best known representative from this family is reference 6090, like the present one. It is impressive to find such an original example as the present specimen and in particular one with a black dial. For the first time, however, an example featuring a black lacquered "star-dial" comes to light and one can describe this watch, consequently and without exaggeration, as "very rare".

The example here is preserved in very authentic and original condition which adds up to its desirability. The flaking on the dial confirms the original condition of the watch and renders it even more attractive.
