Prints and Multiples

Christie’s Prints and Multiples department offers works spanning centuries of printmaking — a comprehensive journey through Western art movements from 1450 to the present day.

With salerooms in London and New York, our team of international specialists build auctions of limited-edition original prints and three-dimensional multiples ranging from Old Master to contemporary works. Our auctions feature modern masterpieces by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró and M.C. Escher; and remarkable impressions from Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, David Hockney, Banksy and other post-war, Pop, and contemporary artists. In addition, we hold dedicated annual auctions of Old Master Prints including works by Rembrandt van Rijn, Albrecht Dürer and Francisco Goya.

With a breadth of material and a wide variety of price points, the Prints department continues to provide superior expertise. In addition to live auctions, we also offer online auction and private sales, providing our clients with more opportunities to buy and sell in this growing international market.
