DAOGUANG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
The dish has shallow rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, and is brightly enamelled with a central medallion of three archaistic phoenixes encircling a sylised lotus blossom with curling stems, repeated in a frieze on the exterior, a decorative border encircles the foot.
