The sword with broad swelling double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section, long ricasso covered with wood and leather and with two downcurved side-lugs, blackened iron hilt with arched spatulate quillons, double oval side-rings on each side, the outer rings swelling at the centre, ovoidal pommel, and cloth-covered wooden grip (some cloth missing)
