The dial signed Eardley Norton. London. 2012 on a silvered sector flanked by subsidiary rings for strike/silent and music selection engraved: March/Song/Rigadoon/Polonaise/Gavot/Minuet, the silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with pierced brass hands, matted centre with subsidiary calendar aperture, foliate spandrels, the massive six pillar triple chain fusee movement with verge escapement and playing music on 14 bells via an 11 cm. long pin barrel, hour strike on further bell, the back-plate engraved with scrolling foliage with a central flowering urn above the signature engraved Eardley Norton London, pendulum securing device to the right side and similarly engraved brass movement securing brackets, the case surmounted by an elaborate parcel-gilt baldachin centred beneath with a silvered boy balancing atop an ormolu orb, the surrounding balustrade with four foliate urn finials, similar finials to the four angles of the break-arch top supported on ormolu caryatids with trailing flowers, the concave plinth on elaborate foliate scroll feet; on associated rectangular mahogany plinth with similar caryatids and foliate scroll feet
