The case with handle to bell top, glazed sides and now lacking feet, the dial signed Jams. Aickin London on a silvered plaque within the foliate engraved arch flanked by subsidiary silvered rings for strike/silent and regulation, the main Roman and Arabic narrow chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, the matted centre with central silvered alarm disc, calendar and mock pendulum apertures, the six pillar twin fusee (wire-lines) movement with pull quarter repeat on six bells, hour strike on the main bell with alarm hammer inside operated via an engraved pulley system affixed to the back-plate, verge escapement with engraved pendulum regulation bar suspending the pendulum from a steel spring, pendulum holdfast to the foliate engraved back-plate centred by the signature Jams.
