Slightly tapering rectangular tui--tablettes, of flattened oval section, both sides of cover and base applied with rectangular mother-of-pearl panels engraved with foliage and trophies of Love within oval medallions, applied with chased and engraved silver-gilt decoration, with motto 'SOUVENIR DAMITIE', within engraved silver mounts, the interior fitted with silver-gilt tongue grater, ear-spoon, bodkin, silver-gilt topped pencil and three-leaved tablets
