Slightly tapering cylindrical case, the independent base and cover with white diaperwork and with two rocaille cartouches depicting countryside landscapes within gilt scroll frames, the inside fitted with two leaved tablets, gilt-metal folding scissors, a bodkin, gilt-capped pencil, ear spoon and folding knife (one implement missing)
