拍賣簡介

Christie's is pleased to present our May 2026 Los Angeles auction, a sale of remarkable depth and range drawn from distinguished private cellars in California and beyond.

Burgundy anchors the sale with exceptional breadth. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti spans the full range of the Domaine's Grands Crus – Romanée-Conti 1989, 2011, and 2013; La Tâche from 2001 through 2022; and a magnificent 1995 Assortment Case. The offerings by Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair are particularly distinguished, with La Romanée in both 2017 and 2018 alongside an extended selection of Premier Cru Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée and a beautiful example of the Aux Cras en magnum. Domaine Leroy, Domaine Georges Roumier Bonnes-Mares both in bottle and en magnum, a full case of Armand Rousseau Chambertin 2014, and selections from d’Angerville, Ponsot, Perrot-Minot, Roty, and more further underscore this sale’s distinction. White Burgundy from Domaines Leflaive, Dauvissat, François Raveneau, Henri Boillot, Bonneau du Martray, and des Comtes Lafon completes an illustrious picture.

Bordeaux is led by Château Mouton Rothschild 1945 en magnum, one of the most celebrated wines of the 20th century and now vanishingly rare in large format. First Growth holdings extend across decades, with Châteaux Margaux 1982 and 1990 in bottle and en magnum, Latour from 1986 through 2007, Haut-Brion 1989, and Lafite Rothschild 2018 in formidable double-magnum format. Six bottles of Le Pin 1997 in OWC alongside Châteaux Cheval Blanc, Figeac, La Conseillante, and more round out the right bank.

From the Rhône, a rare bottle of Château Rayas 1983 is joined by the 2003 vintage of the same as well as Pegau’s celebrated Cuvée da Capo across three vintages, and Chapoutier’s white Hermitages from l'Ermite and Le Méal add refreshing intrigue. Some of the greatest wines of the south of France – Domaine de Trévallon, Domaine Tempier, and Château Pradeaux – are available for those in the know.

California collectors will be richly rewarded. Screaming Eagle leads with an extraordinary series of Cabernet Sauvignon, Flight, and Sauvignon Blanc. An extensive Ojai Vineyard archive – single-vineyard Syrah and Pinot Noir spanning the 1990s and 2000s – constitutes a rare opportunity to acquire the work of one of the Central Coast's singular producers in depth. Bedrock’s celebrated single-vineyard heritage bottlings, verticals of Dehlinger’s and Calera’s legendary single-vineyard Pinot Noir bottlings, library vintages of Turley, and well-aged examples of Schramsberg, Kenwood, Failla, Stolpman, DeLoach, Clos Saron, Whitcraft, and more round out an offering of singular west coast seriousness. Italian highlights include a full case of Sassicaia 2006 alongside outstanding Brunello from Fuligni, Costanti, Uccelliera, Piccolomini, and Altesino, with Barolo from Giacosa, Gaja, and Vietti.

The sale concludes with a comprehensive vintage Port offering: full and half cases of Dow's, Graham's, Taylor's, and Warre's from the 1977 and 1983 declarations, alongside Taylor's iconic 1955.

All wines in this sale are located in Los Angeles, California. Bidding opens Thursday 30 April and closes Thursday 14 May.
