With high-shouldered, tapering body raised on a flared pedestal foot, well painted in dark brown on a white slip with a large foliate spray on each side, with lightly carved and combed details, the tall neck surmounted by a flanged mouth rim and flanked by a curved, faceted spout and a ribbed strap handle, all under a clear glaze falling short of the foot to expose the fine-grained buff ware, handle and spout replaced
