The ovoid body well painted in brown on a white slip with a wide band of feathery foliate sprays below a narrower band of grouped brush strokes on the shoulder, within double-line borders and with single line borders on the short neck and lipped mouth rim, all under a clear glaze falling irregularly onto the spreading, knife-pared foot
