Woven in wools, depicting Armida before Godefroy of Bouillon from The Story of Godefroy of Bouillon in Jerusalem Delivered, with a king seated on a throne flanked by a soldier in Roman armour and before him with a kneeling maiden and with further soldiers surrounding her, with various tents in the background, within a floral column border and within a brown outer slip, signed on the lower border M.R.DAVBVSSON.FG, with restored splits reweaving and patching

This tapestry is based on Torquato Tasso's (1544-1595) Jerusalem Delivered of 1581. The epic poem relays the various crusades undertaken by the Christians against the Muslims to regain the grave of Christ.
