Finely painted with two rectangular panels enclosing scenes within a lush garden beside a pavilion, one with a lady playing the qin to an admirer, the other with dignitaries and deer, reserved on a dense peony scroll ground, the shoulder with four ogival panels with Buddhistic lions on a elaborate floral diaper ground, the neck with two further rectangular panels enclosing birds and flowers on a cash-emblem ground, the vertical rim encircled by a key-fret border (chip to foot restored, cracks to base of neck restuck)--18in. (46cm.) high
