A Coalport London decorated punch bowl
the shell encrusted circular foot, painted in shades of orange and green, supporting deep bowl with punch mask handles, the exterior enamelled in black with silhouette vignettes of classical subjects in Regency dress, the underside gilt with spots and stars, the interior richly gilt with fruiting vines, the well with three silhouettes of Punch, a man bearing a tray with decanter and two glasses, and a dancer with tambourine, circa 1805 (some wear to gilt) -- 29.5cm. diam.
