The jar with an elliptical compressed body is carved in shallow releif with four bi-shaped discs strung together by a rope-twist, the shoulders with two small loop handles. The softly polished white stone has a very faint greenish tinge with several pale russet streaks and areas of mottling.
3 7/8 in. (10 cm.) wide

The present vessel might have functioned as a water pot. Compare to a similar vessel incised with a Qianlong mark and accompanied with a jade spoon from the Water, Pine and Stone Retreat Collection, sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 3 October 2009, lot 1804.
