A CARVED CORAL VASE AND COVER
The baluster-shaped vase is carved with a dragon on one side and a phoenix on the reverse, which are flanked by the projecting branches of a flowering prunus tree on one of the narrow sides and roses on the other, both growing from rockwork at the base. Three birds perched at the top of the prunus tree are carved at the edge of the integral cover, which is surmounted by a dragon with upswept tail.
