aquatint, 1950, on handmade paper, signed in blue pencil, annotated 'Bon à tirer', a proof apart from the book edition of 219 on Montval watermark Corps perdu (there were also 3 artist's proofs in Roman numerals), with full margins, pale scattered foxing or moisture staining mostly in the lower right corner of the image, an unobtrusive soft handling crease at the lower right plate edge, otherwise in good condition
