aquatint, 1950, on handmade paper, signed in blue pencil, annotated 'Bon à tirer', a proof apart from the book edition of 219 on Montval watermark Corps perdu (there were also 3 artist's proofs in Roman numerals), with full margins, pale foxing or moisture staining mostly in the lower half of the image, a ¾-in. vertical tear at the center lower margin edge, otherwise in good condition
