The bowl, Daoguang seal mark and of the period (1821-1850)
The deep bowl finely enameled on the exterior with two rows of overlapping lotus petals painted in gradated tones of pink stopping at a narrow yellow and red dotted band below the gilded rim, the foot decorated with a lime-green-ground band dotted to simulate the pod, the interior and foot glazed white, the domed cover similarly decorated and with Shendetang zhi four-character mark, Daoguang period; together with a similarly decorated famille rose lotus bowl and cover, also with Shendetang zhi marks in iron-red, Daoguang period, the bowl with deep flared sides
