An autograph letter card signed by Shaw, dated 29 Fitzroy Square, 15th February 1894, to Miss Elinor Leresche, discussing an article on the pianoforte: "which gives a quite faithful account of my attainments as a manipulator of that instrument ... You must not suppose that because I have mastered the art of giving my opinions literary expression that they are worth more than the opinions of other equally practised concert goers;" together with two a.l.s. by Richard Oastler and a document possibly signed by Robespierre.
