A late Victorian rosewood, satinwood crossbanded, sycamore, mother-of-pearl and floral marquetry inlaid drawing room display cabinet, the superstructure with central shaped rectangular bevelled mirror plate flanked by three shelves divided by further bevelled mirror plates, and supported by acanthus-carved and fluted pillars, the moulded broken architectural cornice above a galleried shelf surmounted by turned finials, the breakfront D-shaped base fitted with two short drawers above a mirrored open shelf and flanked by a pair of bowed cupboard doors inlaid with mother-of-pearl panels supporting acanthus scrolling foliage and flanked by a gilt-metal beaded border, the galleried undershelf on ring-turned supports, 56¼in.
