A late Victorian mahogany, simulated rosewood and gilt-metal-mounted corner display cabinet, the shaped glazed door enclosing a velvet-lined interior with two boxwood-line inlaid fixed shelves, surmounted by a moulded cornice with shaped arched pediment, the moulded bowfront base fitted with a panelled door inlaid with musical trophies, ribbon-ties and flowering foliage enclosed by a gilt-metal beaded border, the canted angles similarly inlaid, on slender cabriole supports headed by acanthus-cast mounts stretching to acanthus-cast sabot, 30¾in.
