A possible source for the draped figure standing on one foot on a globe is the winged support that holds a reflecting board over Gravure in the series showing decoration for the atelier of M.J in Charles Percier and P.F.L.Fontaine's Receuil de Décorations Intérieures, Paris, 1801, pl.VII.
