This album contains two portraits of 'Stots-Bashi', the last Shogun known as Keiki by F.W. Sutton, one in full court costume and one in 'usual' costume. Other portraits included are the Prince of Satsuma with Admiral King and the Prince's retainer, a Japanese priest and his attendant, Mendicant men, a 'Cooley' in full dress, a Japanese lancer, Japanese hairdressers, 'Daimio' and his family, a group portrait titled 'My artists', Japanese high officers, a portrait of a wrestler titled 'Wrestler with apron - prize awarded by Prince of Satsuma', a water carrier, a Japanese officer in a straw raincoat, Japanese guardhouse men, 'Japanese in fire dress', Japanese fencing girl, 'Executioner of Kanagawa', 'Japanese Widow of the upper class in mourning (shaven head) and her son', 'Japanese Prince and his staff' and several costume studies.
