One album contains several Japanese portrait studies, including some from negatives by Beato, a portrait of a wool spinner, a portrait of a Japanese man wearing a western suit and top hat; views around Japan; views around North America including a portrait of two men and a boy standing by a Giant Redwood, and five views of Niagara Falls. The second album contains panoramic views of Cape Town, Hong Kong and Telegraph Hill, Hong Kong; a group portrait of Zulu warriors; views around Bombay, Matheran, 'Trypor', Delhi, Agra and Lucknow; portraits of a Singalese boy climbing a tree, a Singalese girl holding flowers; several views around Singapore and Hong Kong and Shanghai.
