Persian manuscript on ivory paper, 247ff. as numbered plus one flyleaf, each with 30ll. of fine black naskh in four columns, gold margins and divisions between black rules, similar outer margin, headings in red across two columns, marginal notes in black in gold clouds outlined in red, (negligible smudging and staining, a few folios loose), opening bifolio illuminated in gold and polychrome with gold clouds between the lines of text (very light rubbing), five other similar bifolios, gold glitter lacquer binding with floral medallion, pendants and spandrels in two meandering vine borders, red lacquer doublures painted with a narcissus, (small damages and repairs)
