The globular body with tall trumpet neck and galleried rim raised on a high, wide, cylindrical foot, applied with a pair of molded fixed-ring taotie mask handles joined by a ribbed and grooved band encircling the widest part below three incised scallop-pattern bands encircling the neck, covered on the outside and base with a brilliant leaf-green glaze, the interior unglazed, minor glaze flaking--19½in. (45.9cm.) high
