Of generous proportions, the square-paneled top with a narrow, reeded, double band on the edge widening to a third band at the corners, and supported on slender legs also reeded to suggest bamboo handles, the legs joined by the round, humpback, high stretcher with two pillar-shaped struts on each side, a plain base stretcher frame above the plain feet, the wood with characteristic dark, dense, feathery grain--21in.
