A HUANGHUALI INCENSE BURNER STAND, XIANGJI

The circular paneled top within the beaded frame formed by four arched segments, above a narrow, slightly tapering waist supported on four faceted, slender cabriole legs terminating in ruyi-head feet on pads set into the ring foot, itself set with pad feet, the concave apron with beaded edge continuing to the elongated ruyi-head spandrels, with beading curling in to form low-relief, interlocked tendrils, the wood of pleasing golden tone--21in. (53.3cm.) high, the top 16¾in. (42.5cm.) diam.
