In the rococo taste, each of oval form on four scroll feet headed by applied foliate scrolls and eagles, the handles formed of acanthus leaves and scrolls, a scroll cartouche on either side, the gadrooned rim with scrolls at intervals, the domed cover with similar rocaille chasing surmounted by a flowerhead finial rising from foliage, engraved with crests within cartouches, fully marked--8in.(23cm.) long (87oz.)
