Of compressed circular form on spreading gadrooned foot with acanthus art intervals, elaborately chased with foliage, scrolls, and rocaille, the removable cover with similar decoration and pomegranite finial, with acanthus scroll spout and scroll swing handle formed of seahorses, with ebonized grip; the shaped square stand raised on four scroll and shell feet, with conforming acanthus decoration, the side and stand engraved with the Imperial eagle surmounted by a crown, marked under base and on stand--overall height 13 1/4in.(38.6cm.)
