From the Story of Noah and depicting Noah and his family constructing the Ark, an angel appears at Noah's left, the borders woven with entrelac enclosing blossoming and fruiting urns, the upper central border woven with DIXIT. DEVS. AD. NOE. FAC. TIBI. ARCAM. GENES. VI,the lower right selvedge woven with the Brussels town mark (areas of repair)-13ft. 3in. x 17ft. (3m. 98cm. x 5m. 10cm.)

The series depicting the Story of Noah was woven during the second half of the 16th century in Brussels after cartoons by Michel Coxien. Closely related tapestries from this series, and depicting Noah Building the Ark are in the Palacio Real, Madrid and in the Wawel? Museum, Poland.
