Comprising coffee pot, teapot, kettle, stand and lamp, hot-milk jug, cream jug and sugar bowl; each of baluster form, raised on four scaled scroll feet headed by acanthus, the body elaborately repousse and chased with bucolic scenes after Teniers, below an applied rim of foliate scrolls and flowerheads, with acanthus scroll handles and spouts, the hinged covers chased with similar foliage, the finial formed as a man sitting on a barrel drinking, the hot-milk jug and inverted pear-shaped kettle repousse and chased with scenes of pastoral drinking parties, the kettle with brickwork and acanthus scroll overhead swing handle, the stand raised on three dolphin and shell foliate scroll supports, joined by an openwork apron with elaborate foliate scrolls and flowerheads enclosing masks, with central circular burner, fully marked except for lamp, the hot-milk jug and kettle stamped HUNT & ROSKELL LATE STORR & MORTIMER--height of kettle on stand 15 3/4in.
