Of octagonal pear-shape with panelled spout applied with a scroll, overhead turned wood scroll handle, the side engraved with a coat-of-arms within foliate scroll and rusticated cartouche; the octagonal stand on four scroll supports with an octagonal lamp between, with two hinged scroll handles, marked on base, cover, stand, lamp and lamp cover, the maker's mark on the base of the lamp overstriking that of another--14¾in. (37.5cm.) overall height
