An identical pair of 1744 by Archambo with the crest of the de Gaunt family is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, bequest of Odgen Livingston Mills, 1938 (38.21.3). Another pair of 1726 by the same maker was sold by Christie's, New York, April 2, 1981, lot 140.
