The service comprises: A large oval two handled tureen with cover and stand, 16½in. (41.9cm.) long the tureen, 16in. (40.7cm.) long the stand.

It was sold as The Property of a Lady, Christie's, London, 6 March 1995, lot 8 at which time it included the covers to the mustard-pots (incorrectly described in the present catalogue as mokka/coffee-cups), twenty-six more dinner plates and one more dessert plate.
