Ziwei Yi
Specialist, Head of 20th Century Day Sale | Modern & Contemporary Art, Asia Pacific
Based in Hong Kong, Ziwei Yi is a Specialist and Head of the 20th Century Day Sale at Christie’s Asia Pacific. Since joining Christie’s in 2022, she has played a pivotal role across both the Evening and Day auctions in Hong Kong and Shanghai, with particular expertise in 20th Century Art. Ziwei has been instrumental in cultivating a new generation of collectors for the category, championing significant artists such as Zao Wou-Ki, Wu Guanzhong, and Sanyu.
Under Ziwei’s leadership, the 20th Century Day Sale has evolved into one of the most prominent and dynamic sale platforms in the region, consistently achieving an average seasonal total of HK$100 million. During her tenure, the sale has set multiple artist auction records in Asia and internationally, including notable benchmarks for artists such as Claude Lalanne and Barbara Hepworth.
Prior to joining Christie’s, Ziwei spent three years in the Modern Art Department at Sotheby's Hong Kong, where she developed a deep passion for the field and built a strong, enduring foundation in modern art.
Ziwei received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
易紫微女士常駐香港，現任佳士得亞太區二十及二十一世紀藝術部專家暨二十世紀藝術日間拍賣主管。自2022年加入佳士得以來，她在香港及上海的晚間及日間拍賣中均發揮了關鍵作用，尤其深耕於二十世紀藝術領域。易紫微女士致力於為該類別開拓新一代藏家群體，並積極推廣趙無極、吳冠中及常玉等重要藝術家的傑作。
在易紫微女士的領導下，二十世紀藝術日間拍賣已發展成為亞太地區最受矚目且最具活力的拍賣平台之一，每季平均成交總額穩定維持在1億港元的水平。在她的任期內，該拍賣平台亦為多位藝術家創下亞洲乃至國際拍賣紀錄，包括克勞德·萊蘭及芭芭拉·赫普沃斯在內的知名藝術家作品在佳士得創下指標性佳績。
在加入佳士得前，易紫微女士曾於香港蘇富比現代藝術部任職三年。在此期間，她培養了對藝術領域的深厚熱忱，並為其現代藝術的專業知識奠定了堅實且持久的基礎。
易紫微女士畢業於雪城大學，獲得財務學學士學位，隨後取得香港中文大學文化管理碩士學位。她精通英文及普通話。
