Oblong box with rounded edges, the cover inset with a rectangular German Rococo gold plaque encrusted with tinted shell, bone and mother-of-pearl on an engraved diaper ground with a peasant woman and her dog, the panel flanked by sablé hemi-cycles chased with an anthemion and leaf pattern, the base similarly decorated flanking a panel of wavy engine-turning, the sides with four matching guilloché reserves, the flange engraved Vachette à Paris. 20K.... 5
