The young bridled horse shown standing foursquare with back legs slightly splayed on a rectangular base, with head raised and muzzle wrinkled as it opens its mouth in a neigh, the ears pricked on either side of the short, cropped mane and the rump pierced with a hole for the tail, covered in a straw-glaze of yellow tone pooling at the base of the hoofs, with details in red and black pigment
