Wang Xingrui (1912-1977), native of Hainan, pioneered research in anthropology, history and education for his country. He was a professor in several esteemed universities including Sun Yet-Sen University, the Great China University and Zhu Hai University. He was also the principal of Guang Ya High School. He devoted his life to education and academic research.
