The case with brass handle to inverted bell top, pineapple finials to the front, the side frets cast as an angel amidst foliage, rear door now sliding, on scroll feet, the brass dial with silvered foliate spandrels to a silvered Roman and Arabic arcaded chapter ring, foliate engraved centre with mock pendulum aperture, the arch with convex disc signed Ignatus/Metzka in/Bergstadt/fecit No.777, flanked by hour/quarters selection and strike/silent rings, the short duration triple barrel movement now with anchor escapement, striking hours and quarters on two bells, with trip repeat -- 18in.
