Circa 1590
(Tüllen- or Schnabelkanne) the grey ground body dashed in blue, the lower part with elongated panels divided by wreaths, the terraced upper part with various ornamental patterns, the elongated spout with mannerist floral scrollwork issuing from a grotesque male mascaroon, connected with a scroll to the body, the domed pewter cover with tiny finial connected with a fan thumbpiece to the handle
