Not unlike the '81, the '83s were more typically Bordeaux, the 1982s being altogether richer, more tannic and distinctly untypical.. Coincidently, the '83 Lalande last tasted from a jeroboam (October 2001). Surprisingly deep, sweet, rich extract, dry finish. MB
