TWO PARIS GOLD-GROUND TULIP CUPS AND SAUCERS with butterfly handles, the deep cups with burnished gilt interiors and flared feet, the saucers and exteriors of the cups painted with overlapping tulip petals, one in white, pink and turquoise, the other in iron-red, green and yellow, one with a butterfly painted in the well of the saucer (slight wear); a similar cup with petals painted in pink, yellow and green (chips to rim and leaves and some wear); and a similar oviform sugar-bowl and cover with butterfly handles and finial, the bowl painted with a continuous frieze of tulip flowers and buds on leafy stems (two large rim chips restored, gilding worn), 1820-1830 (4)
