Manufactured by John Mason in 1837, at a cost of #12.14.5½ and illustrated in Gillows of Lancaster's sketch book of August 18th, where it is described as 'an oak sofa table on Gothic pilaster ends' and was supplied with other library furniture to John Edmundson.
