gouache heightened with gold on paper, in a grassy meadow among small flowers, the young woman sits on a low stool, wearing a diaphonous garment and jewellery, and holds up her long black hair with her left hand, green and gold margins between black rules, (negligible rubbing), nasta'liq cartouches and floral border, gold, orange and green outer margins, on pale blue leaf painted with gold flowering plants, verso with a panel of fine black nasta'liq on buff paper, comprising poetry by Hafiz Shirazi, with gold outlined clouds between the lines and illuminated triangular panels on either side, signed below by Muhammad Murad al-.... (trimmed), pale pink border with gold margins between black and white rules, on gold-sprinkled blue leaf, mounted, framed and glazed
