The slender, tapering body cast in high relief on two sides with Wuliangshoufo, Amitayus, seated in vajrasana atop a lotus supported by vapor, his hands in dhyanamudra holding a lotus vase, framed by an incised flame mandorla and set within a petal border, reserved against an incised ground of clouds interspersed with bats and 'auspicious' emblems with raised borders of clouds above the foot and on the high shoulder, with a pair of gilded monster-mask and loose ring handles, two sides of the neck cast with a two-character inscription in Manchu--12½in. (31.8cm.) high
