Each of vase shaped form, the spreading circular foot chased with trailing foliate grapevine decoration, the body applied with a scene depicting Aurora in her chariot drawn by four horses, above a band of circles with trailing foliate grapevines, all on matted ground, the bifurcated handle realistically formed as a foliate and grape-clad branch joining the foliate grape-vine rim, the neck engraved with similar grapevines, marked on neck, also struck with later French control marks, numbered under the bases 1 and 2 and with scratch weights--15in.(38cm.) high
